Having pets is a daily adventure. They require our attention and love. They help us in many ways too. We learn how to love something that depends on us, we gain health benefits by petting them, and they teach us responsibility. They are funny at times and always a handful of adventure! National Guinea Pig Day
We have two library pet guinea pigs! Their names are Hermione and Matilda. We celebrated their birthday in May. Today, we celebrate all guinea pigs everywhere on National Guinea Pig Day!

Last year this craft was very popular. We decided to bring it back to celebrate the animals in our lives. Come to the library and create an animal puppet!
